Breakfast at Sweetwater Sea Bed and Breakfast is served in the dining room, on the porch overlooking Lake Huron. Just minutes north of Oscoda, Michigan, breakfast is a relaxed, homemade experience where guests enjoy a freshly prepared meal each morning with views of the water.

Breakfast is served buffet-style and features a rotating selection of homemade dishes. Each morning includes a hot entrée along with baked items, fresh fruit, and lighter options.

The hot dish changes daily, with options such as Mediterranean frittata, ham-baked eggs with roasted tomatoes, or stuffed French toast. Baked items may include seasonal favorites like banana bread with cinnamon streusel or other house-made pastries.
Unlike typical hotel breakfasts, meals at Sweetwater Sea are prepared fresh each morning and served in a quiet, small-group setting with views of Lake Huron.
Dining With a View of Lake Huron
Guests can enjoy breakfast in several locations throughout the inn:

Many guests choose to take their coffee outside and watch the sunrise over the water, a signature part of the Sunrise Coast experience.
Breakfast provides a relaxed start before a day exploring the Lake Huron shoreline, fishing the Au Sable River, hiking in Huron National Forest, or visiting nearby shops and restaurants in Oscoda.

For early departures—such as fishing trips on the Au Sable River or planned outings—we can often arrange an early breakfast or a convenient takeaway option.
